Laser treatment is a painless, sterile, non-invasive, treatment used to treat a variety of pain syndromes such as carpal tunnel, back pain, headaches, and arthritic pain. Laser supplies the injured or painful tissue with a stream of healing photons below the skin surface. The light waves penetrate deeply in to the skin to affect the damaged tissue through a process called “photobiostimulation”. This process improves metabolism and circulation thereby creating an analgesic and anti inflammatory effect in the tissue.

The net result of laser treatment is a reduction in pain, swelling, and improved nerve transmission for less numbness or tingling. Laser therapy has been used around the world for over 20 years with no reported long term adverse effects.

It was recently reported in October 2010 that approximately 45 million Americans get headaches yearly, with many suffering daily. While there are many types of headaches including migraine, cluster, and tension; there really is no such thing as a NORMAL headache. One of the most common and misdiagnosed headache types if the “Cervicogenic headache”. This is a syndrome characterized by chronic pain around the head and can be associated with migraine and tension type headaches.

According to M Haas ET Al, in 2010 spinal manipulative care ( Chiropractic) shouwed significant reduction in cervicogenic headache of over 50% of a research group that was followed for 24 weeks. Chiropractic care has proven to reduce and in many instances completely eradicate certain headache patterns in the general population.
This is a drug free solution that works. At a time when the financial cost to workers from drugs and lost work time is staggering, it is nice to know that research supports an alternative solution to this pervasive problem.

Chiropractors can take a number of steps to help you improve your condition. One of the most commonly used techniques these professionals utilize are minor adjustments to the joints and spine. These minor adjustments can place the spine and joints back into their normal healthy positions.

Once your body is back into its normal position, your body will not have to fight against itself in order to operate properly. As a result, you will experience improved blood circulation, decreased pain, and you will have a broader range of motion.

There are many other therapies these professionals can utilize in order to help their patients too. Many chiropractors commonly rely on exercise routines to help their patients attain a vibrant state of health once again. Exercise routines can build up the strength of the body and help it resist any motions that might prove to be debilitating to the overall structure.

Exercise routines can also help stabilize the spine and the rest of the body as well. Once your body is stabilized, you will feel much more comfortable maintaining proper postural positions and you will feel much more comfortable as you go about an average day.

A South Amboy chiropractor can even provide you with healthier dieting concepts to improve your lower back pain. Once you start drinking more water, and you start eating healthier foods, it is likely that your entire body will feel better as a result.
